Part three of our whitepaper series address a strong community’s role in economic recovery

We hone in on real-life examples of community support from our own Network members and Ethos Brokers in a whitepaper that looks into the role of SMEs and their networks in the UK economy.

The third instalment of a four-part series, our latest whitepaper, Resilience Through Community Strength, draws on specific examples from brokers who have gone above and beyond to support their community.

With commentary from Bravo Group’s Chief Financial Officer, Simon Drew, industry body BIBA’s Shaune Worrell, and observations from partner insurer representatives, we address the tangible effect of being part of a larger network, whether that’s industry-specific or geographical.

Including facts, figures, and quotes from leading economic authorities, the downloadable document shows that while goodwill during a difficult time may be the driving force behind caring acts in the community, it has a ripple effect in helping to stabilise businesses and processes, the benefits of which can be felt on a much wider scale.

As the industry remains under close scrutiny, the whitepaper highlights how the dedication of brokers and the commitment of insurers partnered with the Group remained unshakeable, as both endeavoured to do all in their power to support end clients during the COVID-19 crisis where possible.

Simon Drew says, “In really hard times, it was wonderful to see how our members stepped up, and we want any business who reads this whitepaper to know that the impact of their support goes much further.”

MD of Ethos Broking, Richard Tuplin, agreed, “The care and dedication our Ethos Brokers show towards their clients and their pivotal role in our community is what drew us to acquiring their business in the first place and is what makes them strong. Then we have our own Ethos Broking community where all these businesses come together and are stronger still, and we see this not only through their collaboration but also their financial results.”

The previous whitepapers in the series followed the theme of resilience, with part one looking at Resilience Through Growth, and part 2 focusing on Resilience Through Planning. In the final whitepaper of the series, we turn our attention to technology, with Resilience Through Adaptability.
